Principal SEO Consultant / 13 Years in the Biz
Starting as a front-end web developer in 2007, Mike became interested in SEO after learning why building websites with Flash was a bad idea. He then led sales and operations for two Long Island marketing agencies, driving over 300% growth in SEO service revenues between the two.
Joining Distilled in 2012, Mike was excited to work with larger websites and well-known brands such as Shutterstock, Staples, ADP, and Bloomingdale’s.
Mike then ran the Distilled New York office as VP, responsible for client services, sales, talent recruiting and management, doubling the size of the team in his tenure and contributing to agency strategy as a member of the Leadership team. Since joining the Tight Ship team in June of 2019 as a Principal Consultant, Mike enjoys a balance between hands-on SEO analysis, R&D, and growth initiatives.
